The styling and finish of this product is rustic and with a slightly distressed look and as it weathers this will increase giving the appearance of vintage furniture. When the furniture is exposed to the elements oxidisation is to be expected and the painted finish is not covered by the warranty.
Storing away out of the weather will prolong the life of your furniture and certainly, during the winter it should be stored in a shed or garage. Any joints or hinges should be regularly oiled. Scratched or chips should be touched up using enamel paint.
Those living in coastal regions will be aware that sea spray and salt air play havoc with most metals, especially steel, we offer no guarantee against corrosion by sea air. If you live near the sea, you would be better advised to consider one of our resin sets.
